Based loosely on the mating of snapping turtles. Snapping turtles are dimorphic with a mating season (warmer months). They will only mate in the water and use a cloacae (an orifice that is used for urination, excrement, and reproduction). Mating happens only underwater and drowning rules will be in effect throughout this scenario.
If you’re tracking seasons within the game, warmer months would be considered mating season and you can use a d2 to determine biological sex (1=female; 2=male). If you’re not tracking seasons, or if you’re on a plane without seasons, roll a d4 to determine if the dragon turtle is female during mating season(1), male during mating season (2), female outside of mating season (3), or male outside of mating season (4).
If approached outside of mating season: it is impossible for the PC to seduce the dragon turtle. Dragon turtles are aggressive and solitary so they will attack if propositioned outside of mating season. The dragon turtle is given a surprise round.
If approached during mating season: The dragon turtle bubbles in Aquan (if player can understand), “I had given up hope of finding a suitable mate this cycle.” Before she (he) turns and swims deeper into the dark depths of the water.
If female: the dragon turtle swings its gargantuan head to peer back at you over her shell. She lifts her tail, revealing her cloacae, a pale pink orifice, at the base of her tail.
Performance check to determine if the player can simulate sex (DC 20). Advantage on the roll if PC is enlarged to at least huge size.
On a success: You quickly determine that your penis will not be enough to breach the dragon turtle’s cloacae. You switch tactics and press in against the ring of muscles with your fist, similar to how you’ve seen farmer’s assist cows with giving birth. The dragon turtle is warm and moist and your arm is enveloped up to the elbow. Reaching up to use the shell for leverage, you stimulate the gargantuan beast until your arm feels like a gelatinous cube. You disengage and the dragon turtle swims off into the depths to establish her nest for her infertile eggs. The PC and their allies are able to avoid all attacks by sea creatures for the next 1d4 days.
On a fail: the dragon turtle attacks with a tail attack in a surprise round.
If male: the dragon turtle swims up from behind you, his rear clawed feet holding you in place as it curls his massive tail up between your legs.
Performance check to determine if the player can simulate sex (DC 20). Advantage on the roll if PC is enlarged to at least huge size.
On a success: You feel a large tapered protrusion shift between you and your pack. Your pack which must appear to be your shell, you realize. Thankfully, the dragon turtle does not seem to realize the space between you and your pack is not the receptive orifice he’d find on a female dragon turtle. After several minutes of the oddest backrub you’ve ever received, the dragon turtle disengages and swims off, leaving you floating in the water with your pack straps considerably stretched out. The PC and their allies are able to avoid all attacks by sea creatures for the next 1d4 days.
On a fail: the dragon turtle attacks with a tail attack in a surprise round.
